Cheap price, bad camera?
This is of course not the case with the camera expert OnePlus. The manufacturer also relies exclusively on high-quality components for its mid-range flagship model. The quad camera is led by a Sony IMX586 sensor with a resolution of 48 megapixels. Via pixel binning, the image is assembled into a high-quality 12 megapixel image. Thanks to f/1.75 aperture, the lens can capture a lot of light. At the same time, restless hands are reliably compensated thanks to OIS and EIS. Even action-packed shots are no problem with the OnePlus North. Optionally, the image files can be saved in RAW format.

Powerful camera setup
In addition to the main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture has been installed, which allows images to be captured with a viewing angle of up to 119 degrees. A 5 megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 f-stop was used for breathtaking portrait shots. For close-ups, the 2 megapixel macro sensor is used. This is equipped with an f/2.4 aperture. In addition to high-quality snapshots, videos in superior quality can also be made - and this also in CINE aspect ratio. Videos in super slow motion are possible at 1080p with up to 240 frames per second. Even 4k videos can be shot at 30 fps.

Instagram junkies, you may cheer
Not only the quad camera on the back of the OnePlus Nord is impressive, but also the setup on the front. The Dual Punch Hole Selfie camera consists of a 32 megapixel Sony IMX616 sensor with an f/2.45 aperture. A real highlight is the EIS in the front camera. Selfies with many friends at once are also no problem thanks to the 8 megapixel wide angle lens. The dual sensor offers an f/2.45 aperture and has a 105 degree shooting angle.

Gamers do not go away empty handed
OnePlus is known for producing uncompromisingly good smartphones. The North is of course no exception. Despite the price range, a Snapdragon 765G processor slumbers inside the case. The Octa Core CPU has a clock rate of up to 2.4 GHz and offers an Adreno 620 GPU, which will absolutely satisfy even demanding mobile gamers. Supplemented by 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM, the OnePlus North can be considered a true racing machine. Even future app generations will not pose a problem.

Patented display with 90 Hz
Not only at first glance does the display of the OnePlus Nord appear to have originated in the luxury class. The built-in technology is absolutely state-of-the-art. The 6.44-inch panel offers a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and thus has a pixel density of 408 ppi. The Fluid AMOLED display is characterized on the one hand by its low energy consumption and on the other hand by its outstanding color reproduction.

Rich memory, large battery
OnePlus also shows its best side with the internal memory. A fast UFS2.1 ROM was installed. With a size of 128 GB, even ambitious gamers, who prefer a large selection of games on the smartphone, won't have any bottlenecks in the internal memory. The battery also plays into the hands of gamers and frequent users. With 4115 mAh, the battery is pleasantly sized. Should the power run out, the battery can be fully charged in record time with Warp Charge 30T via the USB C port.

An all-rounder for demanding users
The overall equipment of the OnePlus Nord can only be described as successful. Within the mobile network, surfing is done at high speed. A full 5G support is offered as well as Dual SIM. High bandwidths can also be guaranteed in the WLAN. The device is familiar with the 802.11 a, b, g, n and ac standards. Wireless gadgets like headphones or smart watches can be connected via Bluetooth 5.1. Contactless payment is also possible thanks to the built-in NFC chip. Location services can be used without restriction via GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, A-GPS and NavIC. The device can be unlocked via the fingerprint sensor in the display or via Face Unlock.
