Oneplus 12 Region Lock Problem

The Oneplus 12 was released in China on December 11, 2023 and initially only had Color OS. In January, Oxygen was added via Flash, but there was no need to worry about a region lock.
From the launch of the global version on the 24.01, only Oneplus devices with a region lock will be sold. This means that from this point on, all devices from China will probably have a region lock.
But don't worry, there is already a solution and customers who have received a device with a region lock from us can have it removed by remote maintenance with our technicians, FREE OF CHARGE. On all devices shipped after the Chinese New Year Festival, the region lock will already be removed in China.
We are really sorry, nobody could have guessed this, but it is not a big problem. We provide the service free of charge to all our customers and if anyone is unsure, we can offer a return and 100% refund.
However, from experience with the region lock on the Oneplus 11 or Realme devices, we can say that once it has been removed, it will never come back. The process is also completed with our technician via remote maintenance within 2-5 minutes.
HOW TO YOU KNOW, IF YOU HAVE A REGION LOCK?
If you add a SIM card outsite of China and get a popup message with information, that this device is not compatible with your region, than you have a region lock on your device. If you bought it with us, please contact us.

UPDATE: All devices shipped after the Chinese New Year Festival will be automatically flashed in China and the region lock will be removed. All customers who have received a device with a region lock can contact us by email and our technician will remove it remotely.

What is not working if you still have a region lock?
We tried this directly and inserted a SIM card in each of the 70 devices and used it to make calls. But that doesn't help at all.
Yes, that's right, there is a list of country codes in the code that are affected by the region lock. But not all of them are affected. We have customers from countries that never see the popup because their country is not affected. However, the problem can be that as soon as the user enters a country that is blocked, the pop-up should appear.

No, regardless of whether you have Color OS or Oxygen OS on it, the lock popup will appear and lock your device after 10 restarts.
These are different firmware versions for different countries,

But that doesn't help either. As long as the device is a China device, that won't help either.
