A big 16:10 workspace in a light aluminium unibody

The HONOR MagicBook 16 (2026) is made for people who want plenty of screen without carrying a heavy machine. It brings a 16-inch 2.5K display in the tall 16:10 format at 180 Hz, a 92 Wh battery and a full keyboard with number pad together in an aluminium body that weighs from about 1.69 kg.

This version pairs the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H with 32 GB of memory and a 1 TB SSD. With 16 cores, the Arc B390 graphics and an NPU for local AI tasks, it is built for video editing, large photo batches and many programs running at once. For documents, study and everyday office work, the Ultra 5 336H version is the more affordable choice.

Both versions ship with Windows 11 Home in the Chinese edition and come in Starry Gray or Floating Gold.

A light aluminium unibody from 1.69 kg

The MagicBook 16 houses its 16-inch display in a unibody made of aluminium alloy that measures 355.13 x 246.5 mm and is 16.9 to 19.9 mm thick without its rubber feet. Weighing from about 1.69 kg, it is pleasantly light for a 16-inch notebook with a metal body, and rounded aluminium edges with narrow bezels give it an understated look that suits the office and the lecture hall alike.

It comes in Starry Gray, a warm metallic grey, or Floating Gold, a soft champagne tone, and both finishes carry the HONOR logo on the lid.

An anti-glare 2.5K display in 16:10 at 180 Hz

The 16-inch panel resolves 2560 x 1600 pixels at 189 ppi in a 16:10 format. Compared with 16:9 it adds height, so more lines of a document, more rows of a spreadsheet and more of an editing timeline stay in view before scrolling. The refresh rate switches between 180 Hz and 60 Hz: at 180 Hz, scrolling, window dragging and pointer movement look noticeably smoother, while 60 Hz saves power for reading. A lab-measured 3 ms grey-to-grey response time means fast motion leaves less of a trail.

The matte, anti-glare surface keeps reflections from windows and lamps down in an office or on a train. The panel reaches up to 500 nits of peak brightness, covers 100% sRGB, has a typical contrast ratio of 1200:1 and shows up to 1.07 billion colours with 10-bit content. For long sessions it carries TÜV Rheinland certification for hardware low blue light and flicker-free viewing, and an e-book mode softens the colour tone in the evening.

Powerful Core Ultra X7 358H and two M.2 slots

The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H belongs to the third Core Ultra generation and is built on Intel's 18A process. Its 16 cores split into four performance, eight efficiency and four low-power cores, with the fastest boosting up to 4.8 GHz. Demanding programs get the performance cores, while mail, chat and sync run alongside on the economical ones. An Intel AI Boost NPU with 50 TOPS handles local AI workloads, leaving the processor and graphics free for other work.

Graphics come from the integrated Intel Arc B390, which needs no separate graphics card and, with 12 Xe3 cores, is the most powerful graphics option in the MagicBook 16. It accelerates video playback and export, filters in photo editors and light 3D work, and in supported games XeSS 3 can generate up to four times the frames.

The 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory runs at up to 9600 MT/s and leaves plenty of headroom for many open programs, while the 1 TB SSD offers ample space for projects, photo libraries and software. Two M.2 2280 slots come as standard, so the storage can be expanded freely.

Quiet dual-fan cooling with a switchable performance mode

A large-diameter D12 heat pipe carries heat from the processor to two fans, while cooling fins only 0.1 mm thin give the air a large surface to absorb heat inside the slim body. For office work, video and chat, the fans measure as low as 17 dB in lab tests, quiet enough for a library or a meeting.

Fn+P switches between the intelligent mode and the high-performance mode, in which the notebook reaches about 88 W of combined system power in lab tests with the adapter connected. Long exports and heavy workloads benefit most from that headroom.

A backlit keyboard with number pad and a large touchpad

Full-size keys with 1.6 mm of travel and a dedicated number pad speed up spreadsheets, accounting and data entry. The backlight has three levels, the scissor mechanism lowers typing noise by 3 dB, and the function row adds a calculator key and an AI search key.

The 123.2 x 79.2 mm touchpad recognises five touch points, of which Windows 11 uses up to four for swipe and zoom gestures. Once set up, a fingerprint sensor in the power button turns switching on and signing in with Windows Hello into a single step.

A large 92 Wh battery with fast USB-C charging

At 92 Wh (typical value), the battery offers a lot of capacity for a notebook with a 180 Hz screen and a Core Ultra processor. According to HONOR, it lasted 15.3 hours in a simulated everyday workload in the lab at 25 °C, 200 or 250 nits brightness and the balanced power mode; the figures vary with the configuration.

Charging runs over USB-C: with the notebook switched off or hibernating, the battery climbs from 2% to about 51% in 30 minutes and is full after about 67 minutes. The GaN charger with its braided cable also charges HONOR phones and tablets, so one charger covers all three devices on the road. In the other direction, the notebook can fast-charge supported HONOR phones with up to 80 W, working like a large power bank.

Versatile ports with two USB-C, two USB-A and HDMI 2.1

The left edge carries HDMI 2.1, two full-function USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports and a 3.5 mm headset combo jack, while the right edge holds two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. The USB-C ports transfer data at 10 Gbit/s, charge the notebook and output video, so a single cable can connect a monitor or a dock. HDMI drives a TV or projector directly at up to 4K and 60 Hz, and the USB-A ports take mice, keyboards and USB sticks without an adapter. There is no Thunderbolt: the USB-C ports are designed for USB and DisplayPort devices.

Wireless connectivity covers Wi-Fi 802.11ax with 160 MHz channels in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands, plus Bluetooth 5.1.

A clear 1080p webcam, Nahimic sound and teamwork with HONOR devices

A 1080p webcam and two microphones handle video calls, while two speakers tuned with Nahimic audio software give music, films and meetings a wide, clear sound.

Through HONOR Super Workbench and the HONOR PC Manager, the notebook works with compatible HONOR phones and tablets: files move between devices via HONOR Share, and screens, cameras, keyboard and mouse can be shared across devices.

QUESTIONS ABOUT ORDER / SHIPPING / CUSTOMS

Are there any customs fees for import?

Customers are obligated to inform themselves about customs fees and customs regulations in their country. All prices on the website exclude customs fees and import VAT of the respective recipient countries. Since we recently only offer Global Priority as a shipping method, the import costs are covered by the logistics company in China. Therefore, no additional costs arise for the customer. Our company headquarters is in Hong Kong, which is a third country without VAT. This shipping method usually takes 2 weeks but is the most cost-effective method.

What does "ready to ship in 2-5 days" mean?

Like many other China shops, we don't have a large warehouse as prices in China are often subject to fluctuations. "Ready to ship in 2-5 days" simply means that we have the device in stock or can procure it within a maximum of 5 days. After that, it will be packaged and shipped.

How long does it take for the package to arrive?

The shipping process varies and is only partially influenced by us or the buyer. In the best case between 5-10 days and in the worst case about 10-14 working days. Usually, the goods are ready to ship within 2-5 days and are then sent to your country. Delivery to your location takes about 10-14 days.

Is the absence of CE marking a problem for import?

No, the European CE mark as we know it is not a (test) "seal" but an administrative mark that expresses the free movement of appropriately marked industrial products in the European internal market. If you want to sell the goods as a business owner, this mark is important for you. However, if you are a private individual, the CE mark is not important for you and should not hinder import.

We even guarantee that every device will arrive at your location, even if no CE mark is attached. Should this not be the case, we will refund you the full costs.

Is the device tested before shipping?

Yes, we take extra time and test all functions and hardware. This includes camera, GPS, sensor, display, and charging tests as well as an inspection for external defects. If new firmware is available for the device, we install it. In case of errors, an exchange is carried out before shipping and the customer receives a new fully functional device. This way we guarantee that our customers only receive flawless devices. If you do not agree with these tests, please let us know when ordering. Please also note that under certain circumstances - but in very rare cases - pictures may remain on the device due to the tests.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. As soon as you have paid, the invoice is available through the customer area. You can download and print it at any time. Should problems arise with customs, we ask you to nevertheless briefly consult with us.

Is my data treated confidentially when ordering?

We treat your data confidentially. All orders are processed through an SSL-encrypted page. All passwords are stored encrypted in the database. Your data will not be passed on to third parties and may not be used by third parties for advertising purposes.

Is there a 14-day withdrawal period?

Yes, you have the option to return the goods. Please bear in mind that return shipping costs will apply, which you must pay. Please inform yourself about the product before purchasing. We often offer reviews from renowned YouTubers / blogs to avoid misunderstandings before purchase.

How can I cancel my order?

As long as the package has not been shipped and paid for, you can cancel your order at any time. Simply contact us via the contact form on our website. Please provide the order number in the subject line.

QUESTIONS ABOUT WARRANTY AND REPAIR

Device defective on arrival, what now?

If the device is already defective upon receipt, we ask you to contact us immediately. We test all devices for functionality, but in rare cases it can happen that the goods are damaged during transport. In this case, you will receive a new device from us free of charge and we will cover the shipping costs for the replacement and return delivery.

What should I do if my device is defective?

First, stay calm. Contact us by email, preferably through the customer area in our shop. We will then go through the errors with you, as small software errors can often be easily resolved with an update. If it really is a hardware error, you can submit a warranty claim. You will then receive further instructions from us.

In addition to free shipping of your device to China and free return, we also offer the possibility to use our repair partner in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or Poland for minor defects. This is much faster and completely free for you during the warranty period.

How long does a warranty or repair case take?

The duration of a repair depends on various factors, including the shipping time to China or the availability of spare parts in Germany at our repair partner.

Repair in Germany: This is quite quick if the spare parts are in stock. You submit a warranty or repair request, send the device to our repair partner, and it should be back with you within a week. For warranty cases, we cover the full costs; for repair orders outside the warranty, you save money through us at our repair partner.

Repair in China: If the defect cannot be repaired in Germany, the device must be sent to China. Don't worry, we cover shipping to China and back. During the warranty period, this is completely free for you; for repairs outside the warranty period, we charge a small fee. A repair in China usually takes between 3-6 weeks, but don't worry, you don't have to do without a smartphone completely. We offer every customer the possibility to receive a loan device for the duration of the repair. This service is also free of charge.

Do I lose the warranty by flashing?

That depends on the update. If it's an official update, you're welcome to install it. If you don't know how to do this, you can contact us at any time. However, if you try to install a custom ROM or root the device (except for devices that are already rooted, such as Xiaomi devices), it's very possible that the manufacturer will refuse warranty. This must be decided on a case-by-case basis.

QUESTIONS ABOUT SOFTWARE / UPDATES / MISCELLANEOUS

Other shops have the device with German language, why not you?

Many other shops use vendor ROMs and can thus offer German and other languages on the devices. The problem with such vendor ROMs is that you can no longer update and it can often happen that there are Trojans, spamware, or viruses on them. We avoid this by only using official ROMs, even if that sometimes means we can only offer a device with English / Chinese.

Many customers then approach us and ask if we can flash their devices, which we unfortunately have to decline. The vendor ROMs have been installed via workarounds and often prevent normal updating or flashing.

Is there a user manual included with the device?

Most China manufacturers only include a Chinese quick guide, but even renowned manufacturers like Motorola or Apple nowadays dispense with complete manuals. It is generally assumed that you explore the system yourself. With MIUI or Emotion UI, you can find your way around very easily, as both Android overlays are quite self-explanatory.

What are Dual-SIM smartphones?

Dual-SIM means that you can insert two SIM cards into one phone. You can use two SIM cards, even from different providers. This allows you to combine a cheap data plan with a cheap phone plan, for example, or use foreign cards if necessary.

Do the smartphones work without problems in Europe?

All smartphones and tablets that offer mobile internet and calling work without problems in Germany & Co. We only offer devices that work without problems in European countries and the rest of the world. There are China Mobile versions, but we don't offer them.

What about updates for China smartphones?

This usually depends on the popularity and size of the manufacturer. Meizu or Xiaomi devices are more likely to receive updates than a completely new and small manufacturer. We make sure in our product selection that we only offer high-quality devices that are also regularly supplied with updates. Xiaomi devices often receive weekly updates and quickly adapt the latest Android version. Meizu, Huawei, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, and Vivo also offer the latest updates very quickly.

These can then be installed OTA (Over The Air), or must be downloaded and then installed with the Updater app.

How good is the quality of China smartphones/tablets/gadgets?

This varies greatly. We have set ourselves the goal of only offering high-quality devices. We want to avoid errors occurring over time that frustrate the customer. China technology has improved significantly in recent years and, as can be seen from the example of Xiaomi, is among the best you can currently get.

Trojans or spamware on Xiaomi devices?

NO, definitely not with us. We pay close attention to the quality of the devices offered. We check every device for errors and install new and current official ROMs. We use the latest official Xiaomi ROMs or Xiaomi.eu ROMs. There are no Trojans, viruses, or other malware on them.

As also mentioned in the ComputerBild article about Trojans, we are named as one of the few trustworthy shops.
