Generous screen space, a full keyboard and a strong 92 Wh battery

The HONOR MagicBook Pro 16 (2026) is built for people who want the working space of a desktop and still take it to the office, the lecture hall or a client meeting. It combines a 16-inch 3K display at up to 165 Hz, a keyboard with a numeric keypad, six speakers and a 92 Wh battery in an aluminum body just 16.9 mm thin.

This version pairs the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H with 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory and a 1 TB SSD. With 16 cores, Arc B390 graphics with 12 Xe3 cores and memory at 9600 MT/s, it is aimed at photo and video work, large projects and many programs running side by side, while the Ultra 5 338H version is the more affordable choice for office work and study.

The Ultra X7 version ships in Starry Gray with Windows 11 Home preinstalled in the Chinese edition.

Working on the HONOR MagicBook Pro 16 in Starry Gray at an office desk

Slim aluminum unibody with a 180-degree hinge

The MagicBook Pro 16 fits its 16-inch screen into an aluminum unibody that is 16.9 mm thin and weighs about 1.64 kg in Starry Gray. With a footprint of 354.0 x 242.7 mm it slips into bags and backpacks made for 16-inch notebooks, while bezels just 2.3 mm wide give the display 93% of the front. Rounded corners and a gently curved palm rest keep the large deck comfortable through long sessions at the desk.

In this version, Starry Gray, a subtle metallic gray with dark keys, keeps the large keyboard deck calm and businesslike. The hinge opens all the way to 180 degrees, so the screen can lie flat on the table to show colleagues or clients the work directly.

Color-accurate 3K display at up to 165 Hz

The 16-inch LCD panel resolves 3072 x 1920 pixels in a 16:10 format that is taller than 16:9, so documents, spreadsheets and timelines show more lines before scrolling and two windows sit comfortably side by side. The refresh rate can be set to 60, 120 or 165 Hz, and at 165 Hz with a 3 ms response time, scrolling, window dragging and high-frame-rate games look visibly smoother.

The display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space, reaches up to 500 nits and leaves the factory with a typical color deviation of ΔE below 0.5 in the P3 and sRGB color modes. With 10-bit content the panel shows up to 1.07 billion colors, which makes it a sound base for photo editing. TÜV Rheinland certifies it for low blue light and flicker-free operation, and an e-book mode warms the color tone for reading; the display has no touch function.

Strong performance from the Ultra X7 358H and a second SSD slot

The Intel Core Ultra X7 358H belongs to the third Core Ultra generation, and its 16 cores split into four performance, eight efficiency and four low-power cores, with the fastest reaching up to 4.8 GHz. Heavy jobs such as a video export or a batch of RAW photos run on the fast cores, while mail, chat and cloud sync stay on the economical ones. That headroom benefits large spreadsheets, photo and video editing and creative software running side by side.

Graphics come from the integrated Intel Arc B390 with 12 Xe3 cores, so no separate graphics card draws extra power or adds heat. As the larger of the two graphics units on offer here, it brings extra headroom for effects in video editing, 3D views and games, and it also accelerates video playback, export and filters in photo editors. The B390 supports Intel XeSS 3 upscaling as well, which can raise frame rates in supported games to make better use of the 165 Hz display.

The 32 GB of LPDDR5X memory runs at 9600 MT/s and keeps many browser tabs, large Office files and photo libraries open at once. For growing projects every MagicBook Pro 16 has two M.2 2280 slots: the 1 TB SSD occupies the first, and a second SSD can go into the other later on.

Quiet dual-fan cooling with a 12 mm heat pipe

A 12 mm heat pipe runs across the main heat sources and carries the warmth to two fans, where triangular aluminum fins pass it to the airflow. Air enters from below and leaves through a grille at the back, away from the hands on the keyboard.

Out of the box the notebook runs in smart mode, which keeps the fans at levels from 17 dB during office work and video playback. When a long export is due, Fn+P switches to high-performance mode as long as the adapter is connected.

Comfortable keyboard with numeric keypad and a large touchpad

The 16-inch body leaves room for a full-size keyboard with its own numeric keypad, which makes entering figures for spreadsheets, accounting and invoices much faster. The keys travel 1.6 mm, the arrow keys are full size and a three-level backlight helps in the evening, while the fingerprint sensor sits right in the power button.

Below sits a 124 x 80 mm touchpad that is pressure-sensitive across its whole surface, samples a single finger at up to 240 Hz and uses AI filtering to ignore accidental touches while typing. Several gestures start at the edges: a slide along the right edge sets the volume and along the left edge the brightness, a press on the top-right corner closes a window and on the top-left corner minimizes it, and a three-finger swipe selects text or drags files.

Full sound from six speakers and a 1080p webcam

Six speakers with large-volume woofers and sensitive tweeters give films, music and presentations a full sound that needs no external speakers. With compatible software, HONOR Spatial Audio 3.0 adds a spatial effect.

For video calls a 1080p webcam works with three microphones whose AI noise reduction learns the speaker’s voice on the first call and then filters out background noise and other voices in supported apps.

Large 92 Wh battery with fast USB-C charging

The 92 Wh battery (typical value) is generously sized for a notebook only 16.9 mm thin, and in HONOR’s lab, with factory settings, balanced power mode and 200 nits, it ran a simulated office day for 15.3 hours. Streaming series lasted 9.4 hours and online meetings 5.1 hours, with the figures varying by configuration.

Charging runs over USB-C, and the same adapter also charges HONOR phones and tablets. While the notebook sleeps or is switched off, the battery reaches about 52% after 30 minutes and is full after about 67 minutes. In the other direction, the notebook on battery power charges supported HONOR phones over USB-C at up to 80 W, even when it is asleep or switched off, which turns it into a large power bank.

Versatile ports with Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1

The left edge carries HDMI 2.1 (TMDS), a USB-C port for charging, data and video output, a Thunderbolt 4 port and a 3.5 mm headset combo jack, while the right edge holds two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Thunderbolt 4 links monitors, docks and fast drives over a single cable, HDMI 2.1 (up to 4K at 60 Hz) drives a TV, monitor or projector directly, and the USB-A ports take mice, keyboards and sticks without an adapter.

Wireless connections run over Wi-Fi 6E with the 6 GHz band and Bluetooth 5.1, and a triple-antenna design is meant to keep the link stable in meeting rooms, lecture halls and shared offices.

QUESTIONS ABOUT ORDER / SHIPPING / CUSTOMS

Are there any customs fees for import?

Customers are obligated to inform themselves about customs fees and customs regulations in their country. All prices on the website exclude customs fees and import VAT of the respective recipient countries. Since we recently only offer Global Priority as a shipping method, the import costs are covered by the logistics company in China. Therefore, no additional costs arise for the customer. Our company headquarters is in Hong Kong, which is a third country without VAT. This shipping method usually takes 2 weeks but is the most cost-effective method.

What does "ready to ship in 2-5 days" mean?

Like many other China shops, we don't have a large warehouse as prices in China are often subject to fluctuations. "Ready to ship in 2-5 days" simply means that we have the device in stock or can procure it within a maximum of 5 days. After that, it will be packaged and shipped.

How long does it take for the package to arrive?

The shipping process varies and is only partially influenced by us or the buyer. In the best case between 5-10 days and in the worst case about 10-14 working days. Usually, the goods are ready to ship within 2-5 days and are then sent to your country. Delivery to your location takes about 10-14 days.

Is the absence of CE marking a problem for import?

No, the European CE mark as we know it is not a (test) "seal" but an administrative mark that expresses the free movement of appropriately marked industrial products in the European internal market. If you want to sell the goods as a business owner, this mark is important for you. However, if you are a private individual, the CE mark is not important for you and should not hinder import.

We even guarantee that every device will arrive at your location, even if no CE mark is attached. Should this not be the case, we will refund you the full costs.

Is the device tested before shipping?

Yes, we take extra time and test all functions and hardware. This includes camera, GPS, sensor, display, and charging tests as well as an inspection for external defects. If new firmware is available for the device, we install it. In case of errors, an exchange is carried out before shipping and the customer receives a new fully functional device. This way we guarantee that our customers only receive flawless devices. If you do not agree with these tests, please let us know when ordering. Please also note that under certain circumstances - but in very rare cases - pictures may remain on the device due to the tests.

Will I receive an invoice?

Yes. As soon as you have paid, the invoice is available through the customer area. You can download and print it at any time. Should problems arise with customs, we ask you to nevertheless briefly consult with us.

Is my data treated confidentially when ordering?

We treat your data confidentially. All orders are processed through an SSL-encrypted page. All passwords are stored encrypted in the database. Your data will not be passed on to third parties and may not be used by third parties for advertising purposes.

Is there a 14-day withdrawal period?

Yes, you have the option to return the goods. Please bear in mind that return shipping costs will apply, which you must pay. Please inform yourself about the product before purchasing. We often offer reviews from renowned YouTubers / blogs to avoid misunderstandings before purchase.

How can I cancel my order?

As long as the package has not been shipped and paid for, you can cancel your order at any time. Simply contact us via the contact form on our website. Please provide the order number in the subject line.

QUESTIONS ABOUT WARRANTY AND REPAIR

Device defective on arrival, what now?

If the device is already defective upon receipt, we ask you to contact us immediately. We test all devices for functionality, but in rare cases it can happen that the goods are damaged during transport. In this case, you will receive a new device from us free of charge and we will cover the shipping costs for the replacement and return delivery.

What should I do if my device is defective?

First, stay calm. Contact us by email, preferably through the customer area in our shop. We will then go through the errors with you, as small software errors can often be easily resolved with an update. If it really is a hardware error, you can submit a warranty claim. You will then receive further instructions from us.

In addition to free shipping of your device to China and free return, we also offer the possibility to use our repair partner in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, or Poland for minor defects. This is much faster and completely free for you during the warranty period.

How long does a warranty or repair case take?

The duration of a repair depends on various factors, including the shipping time to China or the availability of spare parts in Germany at our repair partner.

Repair in Germany: This is quite quick if the spare parts are in stock. You submit a warranty or repair request, send the device to our repair partner, and it should be back with you within a week. For warranty cases, we cover the full costs; for repair orders outside the warranty, you save money through us at our repair partner.

Repair in China: If the defect cannot be repaired in Germany, the device must be sent to China. Don't worry, we cover shipping to China and back. During the warranty period, this is completely free for you; for repairs outside the warranty period, we charge a small fee. A repair in China usually takes between 3-6 weeks, but don't worry, you don't have to do without a smartphone completely. We offer every customer the possibility to receive a loan device for the duration of the repair. This service is also free of charge.

Do I lose the warranty by flashing?

That depends on the update. If it's an official update, you're welcome to install it. If you don't know how to do this, you can contact us at any time. However, if you try to install a custom ROM or root the device (except for devices that are already rooted, such as Xiaomi devices), it's very possible that the manufacturer will refuse warranty. This must be decided on a case-by-case basis.

QUESTIONS ABOUT SOFTWARE / UPDATES / MISCELLANEOUS

Other shops have the device with German language, why not you?

Many other shops use vendor ROMs and can thus offer German and other languages on the devices. The problem with such vendor ROMs is that you can no longer update and it can often happen that there are Trojans, spamware, or viruses on them. We avoid this by only using official ROMs, even if that sometimes means we can only offer a device with English / Chinese.

Many customers then approach us and ask if we can flash their devices, which we unfortunately have to decline. The vendor ROMs have been installed via workarounds and often prevent normal updating or flashing.

Is there a user manual included with the device?

Most China manufacturers only include a Chinese quick guide, but even renowned manufacturers like Motorola or Apple nowadays dispense with complete manuals. It is generally assumed that you explore the system yourself. With MIUI or Emotion UI, you can find your way around very easily, as both Android overlays are quite self-explanatory.

What are Dual-SIM smartphones?

Dual-SIM means that you can insert two SIM cards into one phone. You can use two SIM cards, even from different providers. This allows you to combine a cheap data plan with a cheap phone plan, for example, or use foreign cards if necessary.

Do the smartphones work without problems in Europe?

All smartphones and tablets that offer mobile internet and calling work without problems in Germany & Co. We only offer devices that work without problems in European countries and the rest of the world. There are China Mobile versions, but we don't offer them.

What about updates for China smartphones?

This usually depends on the popularity and size of the manufacturer. Meizu or Xiaomi devices are more likely to receive updates than a completely new and small manufacturer. We make sure in our product selection that we only offer high-quality devices that are also regularly supplied with updates. Xiaomi devices often receive weekly updates and quickly adapt the latest Android version. Meizu, Huawei, OnePlus, Realme, Oppo, and Vivo also offer the latest updates very quickly.

These can then be installed OTA (Over The Air), or must be downloaded and then installed with the Updater app.

How good is the quality of China smartphones/tablets/gadgets?

This varies greatly. We have set ourselves the goal of only offering high-quality devices. We want to avoid errors occurring over time that frustrate the customer. China technology has improved significantly in recent years and, as can be seen from the example of Xiaomi, is among the best you can currently get.

Trojans or spamware on Xiaomi devices?

NO, definitely not with us. We pay close attention to the quality of the devices offered. We check every device for errors and install new and current official ROMs. We use the latest official Xiaomi ROMs or Xiaomi.eu ROMs. There are no Trojans, viruses, or other malware on them.

As also mentioned in the ComputerBild article about Trojans, we are named as one of the few trustworthy shops.
