Vivo IQOO 5 Pro
The Vivo IQOO 5 Pro with its 120 Hz display, 120 watt charge, periscope camera, and ultra-fast hardware is in the top class, but can only be placed in the midfield in terms of price. The Chinese manufacturer makes it possible and offers state of the art at a competitive price. The smartphone is now available at TradingShenzhen at a low price.
Even if the term light is only partly true, the Vivo IQOO 5 Pro describes it best. This is because the manufacturer is launching a high-end device on the market that is convincing in the core disciplines of camera, display and charging technology. In fact, the gem from the Far East is the leader in two of these three areas - together with the Mi 10 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. What is unusual is the price, which is only in the midfield. This makes it ideal for all those who want flagships with the best possible price-performance ratio.
Punch Hole and 120 Hz
The first highlight of the Vivo IQOO 5 Pro is undisputedly the display. It has a diagonal of 6.56 inches and, thanks to the Punch Hole technology, takes up almost the entire front. The AMOLED panel boasts a resolution of 2376 x 1080 pixels and supports HDR10+ for even better color reproduction. Thanks to a refresh rate of 120 Hz, even fast scrolling movements and action-packed mobile games are displayed absolutely smoothly.
Performance for the next generations
Vivo took precautions and gave the IQOO 5 Pro the top processor from Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 865 Octa Core processor offers a clock rate of up to 2.84 GHz and is accompanied by an Adreno 650 GPU. So that multitasking doesn't become a problem, Vivo has given the smartphone 8 GB RAM. The internal memory is also generously dimensioned. A total of 256 GB can be filled with games, photos, videos and other data.
Marathon runner with Fast Charge
At the time of the release, the Vivo IQOO 5 Pro with the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is number one in terms of charging technology. Ideal for all those who like to forget that the smart everyday companion needs charging before leaving home. The internal battery can be fully charged in only 15 minutes - a world record in 2020. The capacity of the battery is also absolutely convincing, especially due to the energy-saving components. A full 4000 mAh provide for a runtime of more than one day, if necessary.
Camera for demanding photographers
Of course Vivo is also very generous with the camera. The IQOO 5 Pro is equipped with the Samsung GN1 50 megapixel sensor with f/1.85 aperture, which was also used in the Vivo X50 Pro Plus and shone with razor-sharp images even in unfavorable lighting conditions. For panorama shots, however, a 13 megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture can be used. A real highlight is also an 8 megapixel sensor, which was installed behind a periscope lens and thus achieves a 5x optical and a 60x digital zoom. Thanks to OIS and EIS, the images can be captured without disturbing blur caused by restless hands during shooting. On the front side, however, a 16 megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture was installed. The front camera is hidden in a punchhole.
The rest of the equipment: Successful!
The Vivo IQOO 5 Pro is a flagship Light and has the same features. A full 5G support is the basis. Thanks to Dual Sim, even two phone numbers can be managed without any problems. High-speed is also offered within well-known local networks. The WLAN 5.8 G standard or WiFi 6 is supported. Fitness trackers and wireless headphones can be connected via Bluetooth 5.1. Contactless payment is also possible via NFC. The operating system used is IQOO UI 1.5, which is based on Android 10.
