Xiaomi Mijia Honeywell smoke detector
Do you want to set up an intelligent house and are still not sure which system is suitable for it? The concept developed by Xiaomi could convince you. Because the base station and extensions of the Chinese manufacturer are on the one hand affordable for the small budget. On the other hand, an outstanding price-performance ratio is offered. This not only applies to the base station, but also to the numerous extensions of the system. With these you can build your intelligent home gradually - and without any special knowledge or excessive investments. A smart home for everyone!
For more security in your home
The Xiaomi Mijia Honeywell smoke detector is a co-production of Honeywell, which has developed the highly sensitive sensor, and Xiaomi, which is responsible for networking within the smart home system. Like the other extensions of the Xiaomi smart home system, the smoke detector can easily be implemented into the existing infrastructure via the Mi Home app. The communication also takes place via radio and has a usual high range to communicate with the base station. In addition, the detector uses a battery as a power source. Thus, the sensor can be easily set up anywhere or mount.
Additional functions with the Xiaomi Gateway
Even if the gateway is not absolutely necessary for the commissioning of the sensor, the interaction of the smart home components offers numerous advantages. On the one hand, you increase the security of your home when nobody is at home to hear the acoustic and visual alarm of the sensor. By networking, you will immediately receive a notification on your smartphone if desired. On the other hand, the smoke detector can perform a self-inspection regularly when connected to the Xiaomi Mi Home app.
